Role title: Digital Marketing Executive: Social Media Location: Head Office, Colchester (currently WFH) Accountable to: Digital Marketing Manager - Content & Social Direct Reports: N/A Main Purpose of the role: We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive focussed on social media to join the busy marketing team at our Colchester head office (currently WFH). Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this is an exciting and varied role primarily responsible for creating, managing, administering and reporting on social media activities (campaigns and standalone activity). It represents the perfect opportunity for a recent marketing graduate keen to further their skills and experience within a social media role, together with exposure to the wider digital marketing function. Activities/Main Duties: Operational
• Social media: Working to maintain and strengthen our presence in the social space for all our businesses to drive our business goals, including: o Setting up, testing and monitoring of activity and campaigns across social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn (organic and paid). o Management of the paid social activity through our 'FLINK' platform, a solution to target audiences with property specific content in an automated manner. o Managing the social media calendar, as well as campaign and standalone activity. o Reputation management. Monitoring social platforms and responding or escalating appropriately and in a timely manner. o Suggesting and trialling new social media activity. Taking advantage of emerging functionality and trends to help achieve our aims. o Assisting with social media administration tasks, such as logins and troubleshooting.
• Reporting: Assisting with social media reporting and analytics to measure brand metrics and ROI.
• Training: Assisting with the creation and editing of best practice, guidelines and set-up documents across platforms.
• Design: Briefing and liaising with our in-house design studio on the creation of digital assets across digital activity & campaigns. Working with colleagues on the creation and publication of photography and video content.
• Branding: Monitoring and assisting with the compliance of our social media activity to brand guidelines and copyright policies.
• Content: Liaising with the team on content creation and publication, including general content updates and maintenance, news articles and blog posts using our CMS system and email platforms. Onward socialisation of the content in an integrated fashion.
• Agencies: Establishing and building effective relationships with a variety of third party social media & digital marketing agencies including platforms, measurement, design & other services. Success Measures

• Proficient in managing social media platforms (natively and via management software), as well as social media monitoring and reporting tools.
• Proficient in IT and Office package skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets and team collaboration software.

• Social media management experience, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn within a busy multi-brand environment.
• Experience with social media monitoring, measurement and reporting tools. Qualifications
• Degree desirable.
• Marketing qualification desirable.
