Social Worker We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Social Worker to be part of a small team providing support to disabled children and their families. If you are passionate about being a Social Worker and if you're looking for an opportunity that enables you to work more closely with those needing your support, this is the role for you Position: Social Worker - Children with Disabilities Location: Rutland - Oakham Salary: £28,672 - £35,745 plus £3,000 market supplement pro rata Hours: 18.5 hours per week (Agile/Flexible working) Duration: Permanent Benefits: Minimum of 24 days annual leave (pro-rata), with a further 5 days added after 5 years' continuous service(if you meet the criteria), plus 8 days paid bank holidays, a defined benefits pension scheme, payment of fees for membership to one professional body where this is a requirement of your role, enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay, special and family leave provisions, occupational health service, and flexible working policies to enable you to balance work and home commitments Closing Date: 4th May 2021 Interview Date: 7th May 2021 About the Role Your work as Social Worker, Children with Disabilities will ensure that children, young people and families get the right support at the right time to enable positive outcomes. With a caseload small enough to give you the time and space to deliver good social work practice, you will find an approachable management team providing regular oversight and support. The Social Worker - Children with Disabilities role delivers:
• The statutory functions for the service
• Undertakes single assessments and children in need reviews
• Develops plans and provisions to facilitate best outcomes for children and families About You A qualified Social Worker, registered with the Social Work England (SWE), you will be passionate about providing quality services for disabled children and their families and have a sound knowledge of childcare legislation. You will have:
• Social work experience in supporting children and young people with disabilities
