Switchboard Operator - Work from Home

Our client based in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Switchboard Operator to join them on a full time monthly rolling contract basis. Initially for three months but likely to become permanent for the right applicant. You will be responsible for answering a busy switchboard, transferring calls and taking messages when appropriate, directing calls to relevant contacts within the organisation, providing an efficient and effective service as first port of call to the business, call data analysis when required and supporting administrative duties. To be considered for this great opportunity to join an established, successful business, you will have at least 2 years recent switchboard experience in a similar role and will have exceptional communication skills working a busy environment handling high volume incoming calls. This position will initially be working from home and will require the role to be office based once the lockdowns are lifted and it is safe to return. Hours Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week 9am-5.30pm but you will need to be available to start at 8am during absence and holidays.
