HR Assistant

HR Assistant - Financial Service Firm Paying up to &163;24,000 &43; Benefits &43; Permanent role I am currently working with a financial services firm that are looking for a HR Assistant to join their experienced HR team based in Nottingham. The role will report directly into the HR Business Partner and will enable you to gain generalist experience within a fast-paced organisation. As the HR Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Business Partner and HR Manager in providing a well-rounded HR support service to the wider business. Responsibilities: Administer the appropriate methods of recruitment under the direction of the HR Busines Partner and in accordance with best working practices Ensure all employee benefits are accurately recorded for payroll purposes i.e. private healthcare scheme and Season Ticket Loans Be the first point of call for any payroll or pension queries from employees Arrange interviews directly with internal staff, candidates or other recruitment providers Prepare offer letters and contracts to candidates under the direction the HR Business Partner in accordance with best practice Provide administrative support on ER cases such as disciplinary and grievance, absence management and performance management Provide administrative support regarding flexible working applications Provide administrative support regarding training to all departments Provide administration support to the Senior Stake holders within the firm. Maintain in house systems and databases with accurate employee data and produce reports if required What we look for: Background within a financial service company is ideal but not essential Minimal 2 years HR experience End to end in-house recruitment experience as well as experience of working with recruitment agencies CIPD Level 3 or working towards Knowledge of Employment Law and ER Experience working for multiple sites, circa 200 employees Accuracy and strong attention to detail Strong numerical skills Excellent communication skills Badenoch &43; Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
