Landscape Contract Manager

Landscape Contract Manager required for our privately owned, growing landscape client to oversee both their private and commercial projects. As Landscape Contract Manager you will be oversee a strong team, be part of a company who are committed to staff development and training whilst also always retaining their high profile by carrying out all their jobs to a high standard. In your role as Landscape Contract Manager, you will be managing and overseeing all commercial and domestic landscape projects whilst predominantly being office based you will be required to visit sites to review progress, meet clients as well as over see staff. The Role Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be Office based but will visit site to review progress, meet the clients and designers to ensure the project is on track Manage and oversee commercial and domestic projects throughout East Anglia, Essex, Cambridgeshire and occasionally in London. Organise staff on sites to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability whilst not compromising standard of work Meeting financial targets for each project, reporting any concerns immediately to the Director Regular meetings/updates with clients, keeping them abreast of progress. Using your communication skills, you will also regularly meet with Team Leaders on site ensuring jobs are running smoothly and also carry out team appraisals and assist with recruiting new employees. Weekly programming of jobs and staff and regular reporting of job progress - on time and on budget. Sourcing and ordering materials for projects within budget and management of machinery movements and allocation to sites. 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 45 minutes for lunch The Person Proven track record as a Contracts Manager within the Landscaping industry - 5 years' experience preferable. Health and safety awareness essential and CSCS Card useful. Must possess a full Driving Licence Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of Hard and Soft Landscaping Exceptional Organisation and communication Skills. Second to none, positive, proactive and hands-on attitude and a very critical eye for detail. Solid experience of materials, construction methods mixed with an ability to tie the hard and soft landscape areas together.
