Tenancy Services Team Leader

VACANCY - Tenancy Services Team Leader Location: Lincolnshire Length: 2 Months &43; Possible Extension Hours: 30 hours per week Pay: &163;15.87 per hour Venn Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Services team Leader to be based in Lincolnshire. This opportunity is looking for a candidates who support the Tenancy Services Manager in the provision of an integrated, high performing, customer focused housing and tenancy management service which delivers high quality and responsive services to tenants and residents in the districts housing estates. Responsibilities of the role: Ensure operational procedures and systems are fit for purpose, deliver value for money and good customer service Lead, manage and motivate the team, completing check ins and ensuring workload planning and relevant cover of the service is maintained, including year-end planning Ensure casework standards are in place and standards are regularly checked Management and letting of garages Ensure the delivery of timely, consistent and appropriate interventions to ensure tenancy compliance and sustainment Management of Travelers Rest Site including processing applications and managing the site Warden Participate in and support partnership working with other agencies and statutory bodies Ensure all staff are trained on key policies and procedures and contribute towards ensuring performance against KPI's and taking any necessary action in order to achieve targets Support the Tenancy Services Manager to respond to enquiries of Elected Members, MP's and customer complaints Ensure safeguarding procedures for the team are in place, attending risk management meetings to support delivery of relevant statutory obligations. Assist with the effective management of budgets and ensure revenue and income is maximized Review and develop strategies, policies, procedures and plans for the team, recommending changes and improvements which deliver better outcomes for residents and the council Assist with the preparation of reports and service plans Provide advice and assistance to people within the service on personal budgeting, debt management and claims for welfare benefits.
