Senior Analyst - UK Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Salary: Competitive £8,400 Car Allowance 20% Bonus Private Healthcare Pension Location: Remote with travel to Spalding / London when required Contract Type: Permanent Bakkavor Group is a leading manufacturer in the fresh foods market, specialising in developing private label products for top global grocery retailers and well-known international food service operators. In the UK, our customers include some of the UKs best known grocery retailers including Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Asda and Morrison's, who sell our products to consumers under their respective retail brands. Senior Analyst - FP&A This is a great opportunity to take a pivotal role in the UK FP&A Finance Leadership team. As part of the UK Operational Finance team this role is crucial for providing clear, high quality reporting, analysis and insight to the business to ensure clarity and alignment to functional operating costs, forecasting & budgeting. This is a high-profile standalone role that requires business partnering of the highest calibre to our UK centralised ABC functions and the associated senior functional heads. The functions span Central Technical, Group Laboratories, Procurement, Distribution Centres, and our Customer facing teams in Commercial, Development and Marketing. Main Duties Business Partnering Centralised ABC cost centres - Provide support to the Central Technical, Group Laboratories and Procurement teams. This will cover robust overhead management, support for capital projects and structural changes, ensuring improvement plans are in place and being executed and providing clarity on the financial implications of decisions. Support the Business Partnering of the customer facing teams - support the Head of Finance in providing overhead support (as above) for the customer facing teams - Commercial, Development and Marketing. Business Partnering Distribution Centres - Provide support to the Head of Group Warehousing and Distribution, ensuring that financial risks & rewards of decisions are clearly understood, this support will span operational performance, cost control, capital requirements and profit improvement activities. Rolling Forecasts - To co-ordinate the generation of the overhead rolling forecasts for UK ABCs and review the results to ensure they are robust and supported by sound assumptions. Where appropriate, also feed into the capital elements of the roiling forecast process. IS and Business Processes - Ensure that the relevant financial systems (ERP, Fixed Assets, Cognos, Concur etc) are operating and are being used efficiently and effectively, and that the integrity of the information held within them is maintained. Liaise with Group IS department as required. Projects - Lead or support projects as required, examples of which range from supporting centralisation projects, re-structuring of teams or IS transformation projects. About you Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Excellent communication and relationship building leadership skills with the ability to influence and gain 'buy in' at all levels of the organisation. The ability to work autonomously - making decisions as required but knowing when to escalate or seek guidance and support. High energy and resilience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Commercial awareness and an interest in the Food Industry.
