Paraplanner Location: Oundle, Northamptonshire Remote Working Salary: Highly Competitive Oundle Wealth Management Ltd is a Chartered Financial Planning firm and Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management specialising in dealing with the Agricultural and Rural community. As part of our planned expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to work within a highly successful St. James's Place Wealth Management Partner Practice. Joining a team comprising the SJP Chartered Planner of the Year & Personal Finance Society's Investment Specialist of the Year, a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner and an experienced and client-focussed back office team, you will be joining a small but growing team based in their Oundle offices, although working patterns are likely to be part in office, part Working From Home. Oundle Wealth Management is looking to expand within the coming three years, with further advisers currently being sought. There is therefore excellent opportunity to progress and develop within the business. SJP has funds under management in excess of £117bn. The Role - Paraplanner You will be working within an experienced and motivated team and your role will include:
• Collating client information as part of the Factfinding process
• Providing analysis of client scenarios and devising solutions to meet their needs
• Preparing suitability letters for both new advice an ongoing plans
• Using cash flow modelling software to enable Goals-Based planning to be designed, implemented and updated
• Maintain excellent knowledge of both internal compliance standards and wider professional developments
• Managing cases to completion and working with internal processing systems
• Ensuring that the business obtained is being processed compliantly and in a timely manner
• Liaising with colleagues and third parties on a daily basis You will be given full training on the relevant IT systems and you will have the opportunity to progress within the SJP Accreditation framework. Financial Support towards Level 4 diploma and / or Chartered Status is available. The Person - Paraplanner This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, IT proficient and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do' working style.
• You will have been working within an IFA or Wealth Management environment and you are working towards the Level 4 Dip PFS qualification or may even have obtained it.
• Alternatively, you may be FPC qualified and/or have significant industry experience.
• You will need to have some experience of the administration of IHT and/or Pension and/or Investment products
• You are highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
• You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
