Business Development Manager

About the role: Wolseley UK are recruiting a Business Development Manager which will be field based to join the Category team for Underfloor heating. This is currently a 6 months fixed term contract. You will be responsible for the sales and customer service performance of the new Wolseley Underfloor Heating customer proposal, which includes managing the UFH quote process as well as assisting in the conversion and generation of new sales leads. KPI's within this role include: Sales Revenue, Gross Margin, Conversion Rate & Quote Lead Times. You will be responsible for: Working with the existing supplier base and branch network to cultivate new sales leads and assist with conversion of quotes generated internally. Strategic planning and critical thinking is required to maximise the effectiveness of supplier and internal resources. Overall accountability of the Wolseley UFH service proposition, ensuring quotes are processed and returned within the agreed time frames. Actively contributing to the marketing and commercial plan for Wolseley UFH Accountable for the underfloor category sales, gross profit & margin rate performance About you: Proven sales experience either from a manufacturer or merchant background within the trade Industry (underfloor heating knowledge desirable not essential) Good knowledge & experience of Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
