Lecturer in Social Work 0.6FTE, 21.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £28,973 - £34,606 per annum pro rata Sessional Hours available Various Hours available Grade 3, £27.52 per hour plus holiday pay £6.45 per hour, Total £33.97 per hour An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Social Work Degree Apprenticeship team, delivering a bespoke programme for Norfolk County Council employees. In its second year of delivery, this is one of the first programmes of its kind designed to develop the next generation of Social Workers, particularly focussing on the needs of Norfolk residents. We are looking for an inspirational Lead Social Worker to join the team as a Lecturer with Course Leadership responsibilities. With support of the Academic Leader, the post will be to build upon the strong foundations developed during the inception of the programme and grow the provision in line with Social Work England standards to help it to continue to thrive. Applicants must be a registered Social Worker, hold a relevant Degree qualification and ideally be a qualified teacher (or have the commitment to obtain the appropriate qualification). Knowledge of apprenticeships would be advantageous. For the right candidates we are willing to consider full time, part time or job share. In addition, we are also looking to expand our team of sessional lecturers to deliver specialist modules across the programme on a variable hour contract.
