Lecturer – Fashion Marketing and Business

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Lecturer to join our Fashion Communication and Promotion / Fashion Marketing and Business team. Our courses aim to equip students to become communicators and thought leaders who drive change in contemporary industry and tackle issues around diversity and sustainability head-on. This new role is key to fulfilling that aim and involves supporting the development and delivery of the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Business, developing teaching material; teaching relevant core subjects; organising skills-based workshops; liaising with technical and other professional services staff, assessing student work and working as appropriate with BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion staff and students. The successful candidate will work with the Course Leader to plan, organise and deliver an engaging and innovative curriculum across a range of contexts which value sustainable and ethical practices and champion inclusivity. You will have a broad knowledge of the practice and theory of fashion marketing and promotion with specific skills and industry experience in one or more of the following: Fashion Marketing, Branding, Retail, Visual Merchandising, Buying and Business strategy. You will be able to demonstrate your skills as an engaging, supportive and inclusive teacher and have the ability to deliver innovative and engaging digital and on-campus teaching sessions. It is essential you are able to demonstrate strong communication, organisation and team-working skills and can demonstrate a flexible approach to your work.
