Lecturer (Health and Social Care) Part time, 0.8FTE, 28.8hrs per week, Fixed term until 31 July 2022 £28,973 - £34,606 per annum pro rata City College Norwich is currently recruiting for a 0.8FTE Lecturer to service the delivery of health and social care qualifications as part of a European Social Fund (ESF) project - 'Developing Skills in Health and Social Care'. We are looking for individuals with a background in health and social care and we are particularly interested to hear from individuals with knowledge and experience in relation to: Dementia End of Life Care Mental HHealth Leading a Team The ESF Developing Skills in Health and Social Care project is an ambitious one, looking to improve the access to qualifications among the workforce across both Norfolk and Suffolk. The project involves a large number of partners including both Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils and other training providers who lead on delivery. Courses delivered will range from Level 2 through to Level 4 with delivery predominantly online, however, we are reviewing a possible return to a blended approach with some face-to-face teaching. We are also offering flexible independent learning courses supported by drop-in sessions to ensure we can cater for as many people in the sector as possible. We may consider delivering courses in the workplace if the demand is there. For all courses, you will be allocated time for 1-1 support. Although the sector has been, and continues to go through extremely difficult times due to Covid-19, there is still a huge appetite from the sector in terms of the support that this project is going to be able to offer to the workforce, and we are thoroughly pleased to be on board.
