Project Worker Location: Avalon Court, Ipswich Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: £19,266 Passionate about helping vulnerable people? We need you We have a fantastic opening for a full time Project Worker to join our team and provide housing support to our customers at Avalon Court - an extra care service in Ipswich. This is an exciting time to join Notting Hill Genesis and we are recruiting several roles at Avalon Court. The primary focus of our services is to support customers in a range of areas, including improving independent life skills, quality of life and building stability through a range of social activities. You'll be personally committed to delivering services of the highest quality and be able to demonstrate your experience in either housing management or working with vulnerable people. You will ensure that our homes are well-managed, with minimised voids, maximised income, and above all offer positive environments for our residents. Although previous housing experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service. To be successful, we'll need your experience in providing support to customers with needs similar to the service's remit, as well as knowledge and understanding of the particular needs of the customer group. You will use your professional approach to develop and maintain trusting relationships with colleagues, customers and their families. We trust you'll be able to maintain sensitive information appropriately and be able to apply relevant legislation, policy and best practice. The salary for the role will be £19,266 per annum. Full time working is 39 hours per week. You will work on a rota which will include working alternate weekends. If this sounds like the challenge, you are looking for we'd love to hear from you.
