DevOps Engineer | Initial 6 month contract | Fully Remote | £425 - £550 a day outside ir35. Are you a DevOps Engineer with Infrastructure as code experience e.g. Kubernetes/Terraform/Packer/Nomad? Then this could be the opportunity for you As a DevOps Engineer you will be working closely with other IT disciplines and business teams to maintain, define and deliver new products and features for the business. Role: Building and developing performant and maintainable infrastructure and tools to meet the current and future needs of the business Working with software developers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended Testing and analysing software code written by software development teams to ensure the optimisation of the infrastructure used in the backend Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes Ensure there is sufficient capacity within the cloud infrastructure to support existing and new product and features Technical Skills: Experienced DevOps Engineer Knowledge of popular 'infrastructure as code' DevOps technologies e.g. Terraform, Packer, Nomad, Kubernetes Strong Linux (Ubuntu) system administration skills Experience of Cloud based technologies and management (AWS, Google, Open Stack) Experience of operational cybersecurity principles and associated solutions Familiarity with SQL and databases Management and configuration of Apache Web Server as well as Tomcat Application Server Management of Drupal-based websites Knowledge and experience with modern software development practices, including version control, continuous integration and workflow management tools such as Jira, Gitlab, etc Kubernetes administration skills with Helm experience desirable If this is of interest then get in touch Keywords: DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, Development Operations Engineer, AWS, Cloud, Linux This job was originally posted as
