Service Leader (Social Care)

Defour Partnership is working with their client a National Social Care Charity to recruit for Service Leaders in the Hertfordshire area. The National Charity is expanding in Hertfordshire and we have exciting opportunities for caring, compassionate and talented Service Leaders to join our teams on a full-time basis. The services support individuals with autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. Key responsibilities include: You'll lead an engaged and motivated team to change lives by delivering person-centred outcomes for every individual you support. You'll drive performance, setting the pace and direction within services, promoting a positive and passionate culture, and ensuring that services are appropriately and effectively resourced to change lives for the better. As a skilled leader you will be accountable for the overall supervision, quality assurance, monitoring, regulatory compliance, and day to day management of staff. You'll focus on the delivery, quality, financial stability and the on-going development of the service. You'll be accountable for the 24 hour management of the service, ensuring that all aspects of support and service delivery are person-centred and focussed on delivering outstanding outcomes for the people supported, About You You'll be passionate about supporting people to lead the best life possible and achieve outstanding outcomes. You'll get excited about leading teams to develop and grow, providing the best support, with real enthusiasm for continuous improvement. You will be a brilliant communicator and you'll have really strong leadership and coaching skills. You will also be committed to person centred planning and positive risk taking. Your Knowledge and Experience You'll have a professional qualification in Health and Social Care (eg Care and Management Level 5) You'll have experience of working with internal and external stakeholders and you'll be great at getting the best from people. You'll have extensive experience working with individuals with complex support needs including autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, or mental health needs. Ideally you will have experience devising new and innovative models of care, including positive behavioural support, You'll have experience working across multiple sites and you'll have a full driving licence. You'll have a thorough understanding of and experience working to CQC regulations and inspection processes You'll have worked with people who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
