Learning and Development Adviser - Retail

Location: UK Flexible Contract type: Fixed term contract until end of March 2022 Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday but we're open to flexibility Salary: £25,000 per annum - pro rata (plus ILW of £3,344 if applicable - pro rata) Could you play an integral part in the design and delivery of learning and development for our retail operations? We are looking for a Learning and Development Adviser to join our retail team. What you will be doing Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will play a fundamental role in the development of our retail operations. You will be responsible for designing and delivering needs for retail staff and volunteers and propose effective solutions to meet their needs. Acting as an adviser to retail managers, you'll understand and advise on specific learning and development needs, including career progression and capability issues for example. You'll also be responsible for designing retail training courses and other learning solutions such as online workshops and eLearning solutions. This is national role therefore there will be the need to travel however we do not anticipate this requirement in the immediate future. The role might be for you if You're experienced in the design and delivery of effective learning solutions (digitally and face to face) You have good interpersonal skills, particularly with communication. You'll have strong presentation skills. You're organised, with good self-management skills, including the ability to organise your own workload and prioritise effectively. Understanding of the various ways adults learn and their different learning styles and can identify the correct approach for groups.
