We are looking for an Assistant to the Quality and Compliance Manager to work within across various scientific teams at Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. This role is to assist the Quality and Compliance Manager in ensuring that the relevant departments above are operating in accordance with appropriate standards and providing a high-quality service. To prepare and deliver regulatory and quality standard training sessions. As an Assistant Quality and Compliance Manager at Covance by Labcorp your main responsibilities will be: Monitor the quality of the data produced by each department by reviewing data sets and audit reports and assist in the preparation of metrics. Train staff in GLP/GCP regulations and quality standards. Prepare and deliver appropriate in-house courses to maintain the quality of the work produced by the team. Assist the Quality and Compliance Manager in maintaining an overview of the scheduling of QA audits to ensure all audits proceed as planned and the responses are submitted within the defined timelines. Assist the Quality and Compliance Manager in maintaining an overview of the renewal/revision dates for Standard Operating Procedures and review/amend where appropriate in conjunction with operational staff. Assist Heads of Department in the preparation for: Facility/Sponsor/Regulatory audits and inspections. Periodically review training files and personal portfolios to ensure they reflect the level of competency of the individual. Undertake periodic reviews of the laboratory areas. Discuss findings with the Quality and Compliance Manager and prepare a report for the relevant Department Management teams. Ability to work with a variety of different clients on wide ranging projects. Education/Qualifications: BSc. preferred, but 'A' level with sufficient experience would be considered. Experience: Ideally has worked in a Scientific environment. Worked within a regulated environment ideally to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Clinical Practice (GCP). ISO Standards will also be considered. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the abiltiy to present to others. Some training experience would be useful. Attention to detail and computer literate. Great organisational skills.
