Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant

LTF Recruitment are delighted to be working in conjunction with one of our partner schools in the NG5 area of Nottingham. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with a speciality in behaviour support to work on a full time basis until July 2021. This job does have the potential to turn permanent for the right person. The main duties within the role will involve: Supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2 who present with challenging behaviour Setting challenges for the children in order to engage them in class Creating bespoke reward programmes to improve the general behaviour of the child Working closely with the school SENCO around the progress of children Liaising with parents around the childs behaviour during the day Following lesson plans set by the teacher and delivering them on a 1:1 basis The school are looking for somebody with: Minimum one years' school based experience Excellent relationship building skills Outstanding behaviour management Teamwork skills and an effective communicator Innovative thinking skills The ability to think fast in emerging situations This is an excellent opprtunity to work in an OFSTED graded 'Outstanding' school.
