Time Recruitment are seeking professional Night Care Assistants, with NVQ Level 2 or equal working experience, for one of the market leading care homes based in Harlow Essex.
Reporting to the Head of Care/ Deputy Manager and Registered Manager, this position is temp to perm, going permanent after 14 weeks.
Suitable Care Assistants candidates MUST have/be the following:
&183; Full drivers (B) Licence
&183; Flexible working attitude to meet the needs of the home, commitment, loyalty and supportive manner towards management and colleagues
&183; NVQ Level 2 (Desired but not essential)
&183; Clear Enhanced DBS
&183; Previous work Care experience
&183; Excellent Communication and written skills
Care Assistant Duties shall include the following:
&183; Assist and support the night care of the Home ensuring that care is delivered to a high standard
&183; Ensure that appropriate individual care is given to each resident in accordance with their care plan
&183; Ensure residents hydration needs are met fluids are placed in easy reach
&183; To monitor, report and record individual residents changing needs
&183; To deliver a high level of quality care, taking into account individual needs
&183; To document all information accurately, legible and complete within care plans
&183; To work within policies and procedures at all times ensuring the safety of self and others
&183; Report any incidents / accidents to Senior Care Assistant, Head of Care or Registered Manager in accordance with policy and procedure
&183; Facilitate communication between residents and their families / significant others
&183; Attend regular staff meetings and relevant training
&183; Take responsibility for managing own Health and Safety
&183; Ensure that infection control practices and policy are followed at all times
&183; Ensure safe working practice is followed at all times
&183; Be aware of responsibilities placed as a result of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
&183; To undertake and participate in training as necessary for the job role
&183; To ensure that all areas of dining room are cleared and cleaned after each meal time
This is a Monday-Sunday role with rota basis. Successful candidates will be paid between &163;10.71 - 13.21 per hour working 22 hours per week, starting times 20:30PM - 07:30AM.
