Are you an experienced plumbing and heating engineer who wants to take your career in a new and exciting direction by stepping into an advisory and supervisory role where you will be liaising between the engineers and upper management of one of the UK&39;s largest suppliers of heating systems?

In this role you will be responsible for working alongside both sales engineers and installers to act as a specialist on everything in-between initial sales enquiries and eventual handover to the customer. This will involve things such as carrying out site surveys for design & heat loss calculations, product commissioning and providing support with system design.

The ideal candidate for this position will be skilled in all aspects of plumbing and heating and will likely have already progressed to being a lead engineer within a company or will be self-employed and looking to enter a role that comes with responsibility for others within a prestigious company. Experience with renewables is desirable but not essential, and you will need to be a confident people person to succeed in a role requiring the building of strong relationships with both customers and engineers.

The role:
Working alongside both installers and customers to provide excellent technical support up until handover
Duties outside of the scope of installers e.g technical sales, site surveys, input in design & commissioning
Providing on-site training and assisting in technical development of installers
Working alongside technical support and servicing divisions to provide assistance where necessary
Working across East Anglia and acting as liaison between engineers, sales team and upper management

The person:
Highly experienced as a plumbing & heating engineer
Technically minded but also confident with making sales and working closely with customers
Experience with site surveys, design, installation and commissioning for heating systems
Experience with renewables such as Heat Pumps or Solar Thermal (desirable)
Full UK driving license and happy with a mobile role with potential for 1-2 overnight stays per week when required
