Health, Safety and Facilities Controller

Key responsibilities of our Health, Safety and Facilities Controller include: - Control our helpdesk for maintenance/breakdown support and manage all issues to resolution - Assist with minor office repairs, accommodation moves, project work and re-desking requests - Conduct supplier reviews and audits - Provide administrative support to the Property & Facilities Manager - Monitor, record and communicate planned preventative maintenance - Manage cleaning and service contractors to maintain standards - Assist the Property & Facilities Manager ensuring that property related contractual and statutory obligations are delivered and recorded. - Maintain efficient ordering for consumables and office supplies and check invoices. - Manage relevant occupational health issues in conjunction with our HR colleagues and complete assessments as required. - Support in the creation and maintenance of risk assessments and Safe Working Instructions - Manage all essential health and safety processes e.g. fire logbook, accident records, first aid and fire marshals. Organise training when necessary. - To provide Health, Safety & Environmental support to develop, influence and promote a positive Health & Safety culture - Complete new staff office/health and safety onboarding. - Deputise for the Property & Facilities Manager in his absence What we are looking for in our Health, Safety and Facilities Controller: Essential: - IOSH or NEBOSH Health and Safety certificate - Able to manage Health and Safety from a experience led level - Minimum 3 years' experience in a Health and Safety environment - Good level of understanding in both reading and writing RAMS - Able to work on their own initiative - Willingness to take control of a situation - Proactive and commercial approach to problem solving - Some experience of working in a facilities environment - The ability to lead by example - MS Office competent - Full clean driving license Desirable: - Experience of working within a retail environment - Experience of working with multiple sites - First Aid at Work qualification - MS 365 Experience If you feel you have the skills and experience to become our Health, Safety and Facilities Controller , please click apply now.
