Product Manager

Role and Responsibilities As a Product Manager you will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining products for your customers. This exciting role will see you develop new products from brief/concept stage and, working with key stakeholders, make your ideas a reality and see your products in major supermarkets.You will identify category trends and demands via market data, reviews and competitor analysis and use this to drive innovation and enhancements to existing lines. Key responsibilities include:
• Working with customers and Account Managers to brief the business, agree products to develop and present
• Work with suppliers and key NPD colleagues to develop products/source raw materials and packaging
• Manage approved products via critical path andworking with colleagues around the business to meet deadlines
• Oversee factory trials and associated paperwork
• Collaborate with artwork houses and graphic designers to ensure artwork is produced accurately, according to customer specification and on time
• Manage and provide all product data and sample requests for customers to launch new lines
• Attending product launches within a factory environment, adhering to all food health and safety requirements
• End to end product lifecycle control, evaluate and execute post launch success rates and improvements in new product performance based on customer feedback
• Monitor market competitors and consumer trends to identify development opportunities and gaps in the market
• Working with the Account Manager conduct range reviews and identify opportunities for redevelopment
• Generate regular updates and KPI's for all projects Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Previous Project/Project Management experience preferred
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills Preferred Skills
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Creative thinker with good presentation skills

• Strong communicator to get the best out of the team around them Liaising effectively with other disciplines including developers, designers and project managers Additional Notes You may be required to travel to other sites within group, suppliers and customers.
