Night Manager

About The Role NIGHT MANAGER Due to organisational changes and development, we have exciting new vacancies for a Night Manager at our new children's residential home situated at Acacia Hall near Lincoln. As a Night Manager, you will be key in helping your team to support young people with complex needs. This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. Your ambition for the young people you support will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential. About the job: You will assist the Registered Manager to ensure that the home meets the required high standards and expectations consistent with exceeding the quality standards and complying with Children's Home Regulations as regulated by OFSTED. You will be leading and inspiring a night staff team to deliver exceptional and innovative care and support to the young people within the home. What are the responsibilities? Overall responsibility for young people and staff at night. Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the needs of our young people. Take prompt action when necessary, liaising closely with parents, health care professionals and Social Workers. Ensure that each young person has the appropriate individual plans and risk assessments in place and that they are reviewed, monitored and checked on a regular basis. Role model positive child care and behaviour practices for staff. About The Candidate What qualifications, skills or experience are needed?
• Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or working towards)
• Previous experience of working with young people with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour
• Proven capacity to manage and motivate a team of staff
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
