Credit Controller

Rapidrop Global Limited (the company) is a UK based Company comprising of two divisions - Rapidrop and IFI. Based in Peterborough for over 30 years our Company specialises in the manufacture and supply of fire suppression products to the fire detection and suppression industries (Rapidrop), and the building products division specialising in products supplied primarily to the UK window and door sectors (IFI). Products are supplied across the UK and internationally from our base in Peterborough and network of warehouse partners across Europe. Rapidrop Global Limited are looking to recruit a Credit Controller based full time at our office in Peterborough. Monday to Friday, predominantly 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hours lunch break (40-hour working week) Key Responsibilities
• Responsibility for ensuring that customers adhere to payment terms and remain within credit limits, ensuring that rules set by external credit providers are adhered to;
• Responsibility for liaising with other departments to ensure that customer queries are resolved in a timely manner;
• Responsibility for ensuring that records of collection activities are updated;
• Responsibility for processing credit and debit card payments by telephone;
• Responsibility for identifying and escalating accounts to be further reviewed by Senior Credit Controller
• Responsibility for opening new customer accounts;
• Responsibility for raising credit notes and invoices;
• Responsibility for posting and allocating customer receipts and reconciling customer accounts; and
• Responsibility for administrative tasks arising within the role Skills Essential Minimum 2 years' experience working within a varied Credit Control role. Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage the department's high workload - approx. 700 live customer accounts. Ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently to any employee up to Director Level. Intermediate Excel ability - completing formula / sorting data etc. Good attention to detail and the ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently. Desirable
• Credit control experience in a similar-sized organisation (SME of less than 100 employees)
• Experience of working in multiple currencies
• Polish speaker Training Full training on the company's systems, processes and procedures will be provided.
