Mould Process Engineer

Job title: Mould Process Engineer Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk PE30 2JJ Shift Details: Days 37.5hours Salary: Negotiable DOE Benefits Candidate Information Pack including benefits: Have you got experience of designing and optimising injection moulding processes? If so, we have an opportunity to join our team. We are looking for someone who has a scientific data driven approach to problem solving with the ability to look at a process and suggest improvements and observations for optimisation. You will be responsible for all aspects of new and existing tool validation and as a Mould Process Engineer you will communicate with internal and external stakeholders and make recommendations on process improvements. You will have technical accountability within one or more of our product streams and be responsible for the designing and optimisation of moulding and tooling process during various validation stages. This will include process for new and asset replacement systems as well as NPI and manufacturing scale up. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving and looking to develop in an engineering role. As part of our commitment to continued professional development, you will get the opportunity to spend time in our onsite moulding training facility to increase the theoretical understating behind plastic injection moulding to a RJG standard. To be successful in this role we're looking for you to have the following skills, experience and knowledge:
• HNC/HND/Degree level in an Engineering or relative experience. Or Apprentice served experience
• Knowledge of Scientific Injection Moulding disciplines
• Experience in Validation and risk management processes
• Data driven approach to problem solving using analytical tools, including RCA.
