You'll be working in a large detached 9 bed residential home, all with en-suite bathrooms. There is a fully enclosed garden that includes space set aside for people who enjoy gardening. You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism spectrum conditions, personality disorders and Angelman's Syndrome. Location: Littleport, CB6 1PN Permanent: Full Time, 39hrs per week Salary: £9.50per hour Additional Information: You will ideally be a driver, however this is not essential. Shifts are on a rota basis working 5 days a week from 7.30am to 2.30pm and 2pm to 10pm, including working every other weekend and Bank Holidays. As a Senior Support Worker you will be expected to lead shifts and assist with coaching and inducting of new staff to the service. You will also be required to participate in the on call rota. You will write daily reports on activities, as well as devising and updating care plans and undertaking risk assessments for the people we support. You will play a vital part in providing the people we support with care and be able to profoundly improve their quality of life, assisting people who are unable to live independently by offering them the practical help they need, as well as emotional support.
