Supply-Chain Expeditor Role

Technique Recruitment Solutions specialises in recruitment for manufacturing industries across East Anglia and has an exciting opportunity for a Supply-Chain Expeditor Role to join their clients team. Experts in supply-chain management, our client is searching for a Supply-Chain Expeditor for a 12-month fixed contract, with the potential of developing into a full-time permanent position. Working in the purchasing department, you will be expected to assist the team and work with suppliers to deliver product on time, ready for the next stage of the supply-chain. Responsibilities: Expedite orders with suppliers to maintain schedules and progress chase, to ensure timely deliveries. Manage supplier order books to check purchase order status and monitor changes, such as price, lead time or quantity. Ensure these changes are communicated to the purchasing and sales teams. Coordinate the movement of materials and be point of contact between departments to advise order status and resolve issues accordingly. Resolve supplier non-conformances. Assist the accounts department to resolve supplier invoice queries. Keep the MRP system updated to reflect purchase order status. Run regular reports to monitor order books, overdue parts and changes to customer requirements. Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. Highly organised Attention to detail. Team-player. Efficient at problem solving. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
