The Opportunity You will join a team made up of 10 project engineers and process engineers, led by the Head of Capital Programmes. This is an opportunity to join us to run some exciting growth projects and ongoing capital projects with budgets from £5k to £1.5 million. You could be working on a spray dryer or lab upgrade, utilities projects, gas remediation works, purified water and water sampling. This role gives you the chance to join a multidisciplined team at a site with unique capabilities and technology - our 9-hectare site houses the largest pharmaceutical spray dryer and continuous manufacturing API plant in the world. You will: Work with customers and stakeholders to design, cost, scope and schedule works Develop practical, innovative, cost effective engineering designs Control expenditure and time schedules, escalate project risks and hit targets Organise mechanical testing, commissioning and validation of new facilities and equipment, ensuring quality assurance, environmental, health and safety factors are adhered to in a GMP setting The Company EUROAPI is a carve out business made up of six European manufacturing sites, including Haverhill . This new entity will combine Sanofi Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) commercial activities with its API development and production activities. By operating independently, Haverhill and the other sites will be able to expand partnerships with other pharmaceutical companies, harness a broad portfolio of volume and niche products , and leverage an extensive commercial network covering more than 80 countries. We are looking for A Mechanical, Electrical Engineer, Civil Engineer or Chemical Engineer - your knowledge must be gained from an apprenticeship or university degree Project management experience gained in a pharmaceutical, medical device or petrochemical industry, experience in API manufacturing would be highly desirable What we can offer you Benefits We offer an excellent benefits package to fixed term employees including a 10% non-contributory pension, private medical insurance, personal dental cover, free medical, physio, counselling over the phone.
