Your day-to-day responsibilities include: This is a high profile role within an exciting and rapidly developing business. In delivering Order Entry and revenue growth, and growing pipeline, the role requires a person who will be: Responsible for developing client relationships at a strategic level that lead to long term resilient growth Developing and converting a pipeline of opportunity that drives growth and profitability for Worldline Lead a matrixed team and knowing the resource to draw on to remove blocks and ensure the highest quality of proposals to win deals Influence customers and partner business decisions Work effectively with multi-disciplinary management teams, cross divisions and functions, building strong team working relationships, account identity, morale and motivation Drawing when needed on the senior management across the European organisation to support the development of client relationships and drive pursuit of the sales strategy Work effectively with other BD managers in transport, hospitality and retail to identify cross-function opportunities Develop and keep current an intimate knowledge of the client environment, needs and objectives to help the company enhance/develop their product portfolio and reputation and feedback to marketing and product development groups Develop a good knowledge of the competitor landscape, product portfolio and trends in the UK&I Signs of success You will have an eye for the detail, with high energy and creativity You will be human You will demonstrate presence and with humility You will be able to see through the eyes of the consumer Skills we can't do without: You have profound experience in the hospitality and retail sectors You possess sophisticated knowledge in the sector and a proven track record of "doing deals" not "sales". You will be able to demonstrate an ability to identify business challenges, build solutions and create with our customers. Not just selling commodity payment services. You have sophisticated skills in being able to self-build leads, prospect and convert Skills we'd like: You prove solid knowledge of building and converting pipeline You have a validated understanding of the hospitality or retail sector with a strong network at a senior level
