The opportunity We are looking for an experienced and skilled Grade A Solicitor or FILEX to join our team of highly successful Serious/Catastrophic Injury lawyers in our Nottingham office. You will predominantly work with the team on cases of the highest value but, may also manage a small case load of multi-track cases, whilst working under supervision. With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first class legal service to our clients. Having the confidence and ability to take appropriate daily decisions on cases to ensure swift progression, will be key to your success. To ensure you thrive in the role, we will provide you with structured supervision, coaching and training as well as a nurturing environment, where you can grow and shape your career. The role The ideal candidate will be 8 years PQE with at least 8 years litigation experience or running personal injury cases particularly those of multi-track value. Experience of running high value Serious Injury cases is desirable but, not essential. The role requires excellent communication and client care skills, demonstrating an ability to empathise with vulnerable clients is essential. We require someone who is self-sufficient and thrives in a busy working environment. You will also be a team player and will enjoy engaging in marketing and business development opportunities. A day in the life of a Lawyer is never the same, however a typical day may include carrying out relevant investigations, obtaining relevant documents, preparing witness statements; preparing for Conferences and Court hearings (CCMCs/Trials).
