Responsibilities Consequently, your tasks could be varied in such a support function but your responsibilities will include Acquisition and project development lengths in this industry vary greatly and can be up to 3 years. Model-based development. Creating application software to fulfill customer specifications for new solutions. Development of safety-relevant functional elements. Impact analysis of functional change requests. Creation of sales and project relevant project documents. Project and process management including implementation, verification, validation and customer specific commissioning. Supporting our customers with a selection of control hardware and system commissioning, including supporting at customer sites. Closing date for applications is 31st July 2021 Qualifications Essential criteria: Minimum of HNC level qualification in either Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering OR significant relevant technical/engineering experience Programming ability: C an advantage and other programming languages desirable (eg Codesys, Matlab-Simulink, Eclipse). Software development skills. Understanding of functional safety. Able to take responsibility for your own development and complete the required product and systems training. Good planning and documenting skills and an "openness" to share work with other team members are essential qualities. Able to understand customer expectations and deliver to deadlines. Good interpersonal skills Good standard of written and spoken English MS Office skills. Must be able to travel in UK to visit customers Must be prepared to travel and stay overnight on a regular basis, including internationally. Valid UK driving licence. Desirable Criteria Understanding of hydraulic principles.
