Position: Registered Manager - Residential Salary: £30,000 plus annual bonus scheme Location: Brightlingsea, Essex, Service: Four Winds, Consensus Support Services About the Residential Service: Four Winds is a pleasant bungalow in Brightlingsea, Essex supporting five people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in a residential setting. The team have a positive, caring attitude and are dedicated to supporting individual's complex needs and providing tailored, person-centred support. Some individuals require support with personal care and have profound needs. The focus at Four Winds is very much on supporting greater independence and helping individuals live their life in the way they wish to, enjoying activities of their choice. Regular activities such as arts and crafts and gardening projects take place at the home as well as BBQs and themed seasonal events which friends and family are welcome to attend. Individuals can enjoy leisure and social activities in nearby Brightlingsea including shopping, going to restaurants and the local pool and the team have good links with local skills development centres. CQC Rated GOOD Key Responsibilities: As Registered Manager of this Residential Service for persons with Learning Disabilities & Physical Disabilities, you will lead and work with a team to efficiently and effectively provide operational and strategic direction, setting clearly defined work objectives for both yourself and others and ensuring these are successfully achieved against agreed timelines and directives. With the aim of enabling the service users to lead a valued and fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential, ensuring that the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality. Effective management of financial performance, ensuring financial resources are appropriately managed & controlled. Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes, to ensure that the business is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the maximisation of profitability with the ethos of excellent quality. Balance the level of acceptable risk against the need to protect the health, safety, and welfare of all concerned in all decision making. With the aim of enabling the service users to lead a valued, fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential. To actively promote a learning culture, seeking cost effective resources to maximise learning and development opportunities, ensuring that the training compliance levels are met and maintained. Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information via CMT and the Compliance Report.
