Roles and Responsibilities: Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Supplying 1st Line Support for the IT Department Taking calls and be the initial contact for colleagues who have IT issues and queries. Be responsible for logging customer queries, escalating complex queries to Engineers. Fault diagnosis on hardware and software. Assist in the build of hardware, install and deploy hardware and software, assist with the unified communications deployment. Networking duties including cable preparation and setting up routers and switches Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and William Hare Ltd. Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge: Keen to learn new skills and progress Must be career minded and seeking a future within IT Practical and hands on with a troubleshooting mindset Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal. Has a keen eye for detail. Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics is required Salary, Hours & Holidays: Annual Salary of £13,545 Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm. Good public transport links Onsite car park and shops near by There will be an opportunity in the future to travel to other William Hare sites to support colleagues and the IT Team. 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program.
