Insurance Consultant

As part of the team, you will be working with both new and existing customer where providing a high-level of customer service you will guide and offer best advice on bespoke insurance products that suits their needs. Key Responsibilities
• Servicing and renewing our existing book of personal & commercial customers
• Securing new business opportunities
• Providing technical advice to ensure our customers insurance needs are met
• Identifying cross selling opportunities
• undertaking a varied range of admin related tasks
• You will need to be confident dealing with clients over the phone or via email
• be able to l isten to the customer's needs and provide a positive outcome
• Provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the services & products the company provides Candidates will be expected to have;
• Strong communication skills and sales ability
• General Insurance knowledge
• Customer Service experience
• experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• experience of using broker software systems such as SSP or CDL (although full training will be provided) Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Consideration may be given for some limited home working subject to knowledge and experience The successful candidate will have the opportunity to study for the prestigious CII qualifications 28 days holiday (includes Bank Holidays) and company pension contribution
