Summary and Main Purpose: The role of HR Business Partner is to ensure that all internal stakeholders are fully supported by HR to the highest level, adding value to the organisation and to support the business to continually improve. This is a national role with travel and the need to split time according to business priorities and tasks, ranging from recruitment & selection, employee relations, advice and guidance, to the delivery of projects. Key Accountabilities: Resource and talent management, actively participating in recruitment at all levels throughout the business. Support & drive change in people management practices. Provide HR generalist advice, process knowledge & solution focused support. Provide employment law advice and guidance, to support the line managers. Responsible for case management of complex employee relations. Establish robust relationships with the operational management team, to understand future business needs and support required. Support operational managers ensuring best practice in people issues, including managing attendance, discipline and performance. Line management responsibilities including setting objectives and c onducting structured, regular 121's with your team members to include coaching, that recognises and meets the different needs of each team member . Contribute to the sharing of good practice and support continuous improvement throughout the company. Meaningful contribution to HR "add value" projects from employee engagement, to reward and benefit. Provision of information, advice & guidance and support to colleagues and line managers as appropriate within the parameters of the position and escalate any queries if necessary. To contribute to the smooth delivery of Remit's programmes and services. Understand Remit and client culture and values and work in line with these always. Key Requirements: Qualifications: Essential: Functional Skills English, ICT and Maths Level 2 or equivalent Desirable: Relevant occupational experience / qualification Experience: Essential: Experience of end to end recruitment including advertising, interviewing & selection Experience of operational management support A strong HR generalist background, with strategic business experience Experience of working to strict deadlines and in a responsive and pressured environment Proven track record of HR project delivery Experience in coaching employees, conducting 121 reviews, and identifying development and training needs Skills and Knowledge: Essential: Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Excellent verbal and written skills with outstanding attention to detail Able to work at pace and remain resilient and self-motivated Competent user of all Microsoft programmes Be willing to further yourself through continuous professional development, updated practices and relevant training Desirable: Understanding of Government funded training Understanding of apprenticeship programmes Personal Qualities and Attributes: Essential: Ability to demonstrate initiative Diplomatic and discreet in approach Ability to manage a complex and demanding workload Good time management with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload under pressure Strong team player
