We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Freeth Street. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to develop their supervisor skills within the Industrial Treatment sector and is committed to delivering an outstanding service. We want you to be part of our diverse workforce What will you be doing? Check routing optimisation of vehicles to avoid empty miles. Ensure all waste streams are delivered to the preferred destinations. Ensure drivers are meeting all legal requirements and comply with Veolia policies and procedures, including drivers tachograph regulations, licence and vehicle checks etc. Management of staff, including driver assessments and inductions, tool box talks, sickness and absences, probation reviews and training needs identification. Monitor, record and arrange repairs/refurbishment of plant equipment and the container. Monitor all health and safety, including the investigation of near misses. Complete Permit to work / check permit to work are completed correctly and lead on all audits Fleet, FTA, QHS and LRQA audits. What are we looking for? Hold managers CPC ( Desirable) Good working knowledge of all European tachograph legislation and Working time directive. Being able to work in a fast paced environment. Good geographical knowledge of Nottinghamshire. Good understanding of financial, compliance and administrative systems. Computer literate, with specific experience on Google docs, sheets & drives.
