Finance Officer

Finance Officer Salary: 19,500 - 22,000 Location: Peterborough PE1 5DD Time: Part-time, 18 hours per week About us: We are a family-run business and a quality home care provider covering the Peterborough area. Finance Officer Role & Responsibilities: Payroll coordination: Coordinating employee flow sheets with client schedules, data entry of invoicing and payroll data into software system, follow-up with field staff who do not complete paperwork accurately or on a timely basis. Invoice processing: Conducting weekly invoice runs and ensuring these are appropriately created and distributed to clients in a timely fashion. Uploading invoices to the relevant software systems Client communication: Dealing with clients with regards to payments, remittances and any outstanding matters Financial analysis: Working with the directors to create monthly financial reports and provide an analysis of the company's financial wellbeing Various clerical duties, at the discretion of the Registered Manager/Director of Operations, including but not restricted to, maintaining quality assurance procedures through updates of client files, answering incoming calls, and miscellaneous filing. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, care workers, co-workers, and all supervisors. Minimum requirement of post-secondary education in business administration, Accounting or an equivalent subject, strongly recommended. At least 3 years experience in administrative capacities, with experience relevant to scheduling, customer service, and computer operation.Extensive experience in the home care field considered in lieu of other experience. Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
