Case Manager Children Young People Specialist

Victim Support is looking for a Case Manager with Child & Young People specialism, to work within the Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care service, based in the Norwich office. This role will require travel across the region. We are looking for someone who will: Provide a high quality, end-to-end support service to the most vulnerable victims of complex crimes. To act as the single point of contact for victims through the criminal justice and recovery process, delivering support and interventions where required, acting as an advocate on behalf of the victim and co-ordinating the support services required by external agencies. The main duties of this role include: needs and risk assessments and developing tailored support and recovery plans for all victims to enable them to cope and recover from their experiences. Co-ordination and delivery of multi-agency support services in line with victim's needs. The ability to support and build links with organisations that can assist in meeting the needs of victims and to demonstrate positive behaviours which reflect our policies and values. Applicants should have experience of delivering a service and working with victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting. You will demonstrate experience of voluntary/statutory agencies, and an understanding and knowledge of confidentiality and safe working. The successful applicant will need to be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
