Stock & Inventory Controller

SUMMARY OF STOCK & INVENTORY CONTROLLER - CDC: Reporting directly to the Stock & Inventory Team Leader in Stock Control encompassing Warehouse and Admin duties to maintain stock accuracy and availability. CORE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF STOCK & INVENTORY CONTROLLER - CDC: Raising purchase orders on the ERP system in line with budget and forecasting documents Booking in all stock and locating into the warehouse ensuring deliveries are in time and in full Carry out regular cycle counts across the warehouses to maintain stock accuracy and complete investigations where required Maintain stock rotation to allow for FIFO in line with ERP requirements Complete all necessary ERP transactions in a timely manner, to allow for stock availability for the dispatch team and all our customers Load/unload couriers and containers accurately and safely Assist with the completion of information to comply with various legislations, including WEEE directive and Waste packaging. Maintain a high level of stock control and ensure security procedures are adhered to at all times Maintain MRP documents to limit our out of stock occurrences through forecasting and reporting tools Working alongside Stock Control & Dispatch team members to optimise customer experience Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by manager. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS OF STOCK & INVENTORY CONTROLLER - CDC: Essential: Competent using Microsoft Office, namely Word, Excel and Outlook Experience of working with an ERP system Knowledge and Awareness of H&S policy and practices Current counter-balance fork truck licence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capable of prioritising tasks Ability to work under pressure and with initiative Ability to manage own workload within given deadlines Ability to co-ordinate various objectives to ensure tasks are clearly understood and successfully achieved Demonstrate a proactive approach to achieve targets which directly impact the operation Desirable: Current reach truck licence Level 2 NVQ in Warehousing and Storage Additional Information: Promotes innovative ways to add value within the team.
