Senior Digital Marketing Executive- (Nottingham Head Office) Summary and Main Purpose: The Senior Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for the planning, creation, coordination, and delivery of a wide range of digital marketing activities and will oversee our digital channels including: Ownership of the website - continuous improvement and redevelopment Social Media channels - organic and paid content and campaign development Google optimisation including SEO and SEM Digital marketing plays a key role in successfully engaging with our B2B and B2C target audiences from large clients through to school and college leavers. It plays an integral part of our marketing strategy, directly supporting sales and recruitment targets as well as driving brand awareness in the training sector. Key to the success in this role will be the ability to understand business objectives and propose digital marketing solutions. The role holder will be responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies, developing effective content and reporting on the success of the digital platforms against marketing objectives You will work in collaboration with the wider marketing team and business to ensure that all campaigns are fully integrated and visible in the right place, at the right time and target the right profiles. You will grow and maintain our social media presence across all platforms. Key Accountabilities: Overall Working with the Head of Marketing and wider marketing team, plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media and display advertising campaigns in line with business objectives Design, build and maintain our social media presence. You will have creative copywriting skills with the natural ability to create engaging content across all digital channels. Photography and videography skills would be an advantage. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) Identify trends and insights including developing creative ideas, and growth strategies and keeping abreast of emerging technologies/tools Work alongside the Marketing Data Analyst and Web Developer to analyse and evaluate end-to-end customer experience across digital channels and customer touch points Ensure that all marketing communications are in line with Remit and client brand guidelines and policies. Create effective content to drive B2B and B2C lead generation Work with internal departments to support the identification and curation of engaging content from within Remit and from clients / learners. Work alongside the Marketing Data Analyst to produce and distribute B2B and B2C email campaigns and manage databases. Work with other marketing team members as needed e.g graphic design and video, to brief and create engaging digital content Use digital channels to increase brand awareness and generate new leads by integrating digital platforms Has a continuous improvement philosophy and ability to propose and trial new ideas and solutions The position would suit someone who is used to managing a diverse range of clients and briefs whether this is in a role within one company managing multiple internal clients or within an agency managing a range of external clients and projects. Social Media Marketing Own and manage Remit's Social Media channels to increase lead generation, recruitment, brand awareness and reputation Develop monthly social media plans aligned to company objectives and sales activity Support with overseeing the in-house social media policy and procedures Present creative ideas and seek digital opportunities to support lead generation Support internal colleagues to maximise the use of social media throughout the company including training across the company Management of the website Maintain and update the company website regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance Proactively seek and drive enhancements to website content and user experiences Provide analytic reporting to evaluate and measure the success of the website against marketing objectives using Google Analytics Generate initiatives and content to support SEO Other: Work with HR to promote Remit as an employer across all digital channels Support email and text-based marketing campaigns aligned to Sales Plans Manage and take responsibility for company blogs, website news and newsletters Provide support and assistance with other marketing and business activities as required Qualifications: Essential: Educated to GCSE level grade C or above including Maths & English (or equivalent) High level of computer and digital literacy Competent user of Microsoft Office applications Desirable: Marketing or digital degree or equivalent Digital Marketing qualification Microsoft Dynamics experience Experience Essential Proven experience of developing digital strategies, managing websites and managing social media channels for an organisation(s) - B2B and B2C Experience of WordPress/other CMS - to update the website and develop landing pages 1 year strong experience and expertise in Google PPC and technical SEO. Experience of using SEO tools. Experience of marketing email automation tool and campaign development and implementation e.g. click dimensions Communication campaign experience with the ability to deliver a campaign under minimum supervision Experience of building stakeholder relationships successfully The ability to use initiative and identify opportunities Desire to work in a fast-paced marketing environment Keen interest in technology and communications technology Desire to undertake training and learning to increase skills and knowledge Strong project management and organisational skills - with attention to detail being a key attribute Working with multiple clients - internal or external - from briefing through development to implementation and review. Budget setting and management and making recommendations to meet business objectives Competent use of digital and social platforms and a strong familiarity with website design and user experience Desirable: Development of a new website Competent in talking to and in front of large groups of people Skills and Knowledge: Essential: Excellent written English and a flair for creative copywriting. Proven ability to research and apply knowledge to a breadth of subjects in both B2B and B2C arenas. Time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple projects with effective stakeholder management experience. Graphic design skills to support the development of social media content - e.g. Adobe suite, Canva, Envato, Vimeo Create etc. Must be able to work with the minimum of supervision Experience of producing analytical reports and presenting meaningful information to internal audiences Strong teamwork and project leadership skills with the ability to work across departments and manage both internal and external partners.
