Role: Engineering Manager Contract: Permanent Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 Location: Home based within East Anglia As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for; - Creating a safe and secure working environment with support from the SHEQ advisors - Managing engineers to increase travel and work efficiency - Identifying and resolving Long term rental, all in maintenance and repair and maintenance overspends - Maintaining compliance in all areas, including engineering work, Health and safety and audits - Delivering maximum external revenue - Demonstrating commercial awareness and delivering this to the engineers - Authorising and controlling engineer training - Creating a work environment which will assist Briggs to becoming the employer of choice - Driving and maintaining the highest standards within engineering cells - Identifying and designing succession planning for the team As an Engineering Manager you will demonstrate; - Line Management experience within an engineering discipline - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels - Substantial experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload - Experience of dealing with customer queries and resolving issues - The ability to coach, lead and develop a team of remote based engineers As an Engineering Manager you will command; - A base salary up to £43,000 - Company vehicle, laptop and phone - Briggs Boost benefit scheme, offering high street discounts - Paycare medical scheme - Contributory pension scheme - Eye care vouchers - 25 days holiday bank holidays About Us Briggs Equipment is an engineering services and asset management specialist with its people core to everything that it does.
