I am looking for a keen, enthusiastic and experienced Health And Safety Manager for one of my clients in North West London- their work tends to be around the M1 and M40 corridor so anyone based in these areas would be ideal. You will only visit the head office very occasionally and will manage your own diary. You will only visit the office occasionally so the opportunity would suit anyone from Birmingham and below towards London or anyone based in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. With 10-15 projects running at any one time you'll be responsible for the health and safety of around 100 employees. Projects are in the petrol/retail sector and for organisations such as BP, Shell, Morrison's, Co-op and Heathrow Airport. Specific experience of the above is not needed- I am more interested in candidates with plenty of groundworks experience. Ideally I need a dynamic leader who can invigorate an established and successful department with new ideas and methods- you will need a strong character and be able to motivate and positively influence your team. Experience in the construction industry is essential and if your experience is in groundworks specifically that would be even better.
