Litigation Administrator who has previous Debt Collection Credit Control experience with a confident, polite and professional telephone manner, great influencing skills and proven debt collections knowledge is required for a fast-growing Facilities Management Company based in Sutton, South London. SALARY: £22,000 per annum Excellent Benefits (see below) LOCATION: Sutton, South London JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Litigation Administrator who has prior experience working in collections or credit control. A confident telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills with the ability to be pro-active and work well under pressure. Working as the Litigation Administrator your duties will include: Pursuing debt collection through the Civil Procedures Process for a leading Facilities Management Company Manage the collections of outstanding debt through timely actions Issuing legal notices and statements Dealing with incoming queries from a variety of external parties professionally and appropriately Liaising with companies leading towards successful payment of debt Ensure all relevant details are provided for third party collection processes and agents Posting and allocation of payments by cheque, card and BACS Sending copy invoices and credits Chasing outstanding invoices by email Dealing with/solving queries on invoices with both internal departments and external customers Undertake pro-active weekly reviews and follow up chasing of outstanding debts on a timely basis Weekly and monthly reporting as to the overall debt and collection position Proactively work to Key Performance Indicators to ensure that all agreed objectives are met. These will predominately be around cash collection targets and deadlines Responsible for ensuring credit notes and adjustment credits/invoices are prepared accurately and allocated in a timely manner Ensure that processes are kept relevant and documented CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS As the Litigation Administrator you will have the following skills and experience: This position would suit an individual who is driven by results, motivated with a calm and confident manner Outstanding telephone manner with the ability to influence others Previous experience in a previous Credit Control / Collections focused role Proven collections knowledge essential Knowledge of the Civil Procedures rules essential Strong communication skills both written and verbal To work well under pressure and to tight deadlines Good Excel skills, a polite but tenacious telephone manner with good system knowledge Knowledge of accounting systems (Sage preferred but not essential) Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without direct supervision An ability to accurately analyse the current position of the debtor Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills Self-motivated with a positive work ethic COMPANY BENEFITS Workplace Pension Cycle to work scheme Interest-free travelcard loan Up to two days/year time-off in lieu to support charity projects HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
