Our nursery caters for up to 52 children from the ages of 3 to 4 and operates as part of a EYFS unit mixed with Reception aged children. As a significant part of this role, you will take responsibility for facilitating a smooth transition into our school and liaising with parents in a key worker role. You will work alongside our EYFS teachers to plan and deliver sessions to help foster curiosity and a love of learning and to develop good independent skills in our learners. You will: have experience of comparable work in a similar EYFS/Nursery setting hold at least a Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent e.g. NNEB have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff and parents be able to enthuse and inspire children contribute to a dynamic and hardworking team and work under your own initiative be versatile and flexible with a commitment to continuous professional development We can offer you: a strong community ethos with staff who are friendly and work closely as a team a strong commitment to supporting continuous professional development and mentoring staff new to a post staff who are recognised for their enthusiastic and ambitious approach to teaching and learning well behaved children who thrive in a creative and challenging atmosphere parents and carers who are supportive and ambitious for their children Visits to our school are warmly welcomed, however due to Covid-19 safety measures, these would need to take place after school.
