Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer to work on our Anglian Water contract based in Colchester . As a Project Engineer you will be working as part of the Delivery Team reporting to the Delivery Manager. The role will involve enabling projects to be delivered to time, cost, specification, client needs and the needs and regulations of other stakeholders. As the Project Engineer your duties & responsibilities will be: Capture outputs in the relevant corporate systems and ensure WMS (M2i) for jobs is kept updated at least on a weekly basis Raise Early Warning Notices and Change Requests when required if projects incur delays in time or increases in cost to Programme Manager Receive data and assessments of risk associated with Planned needs. Challenge data, confirm the need and analyse risks to establish clear cost and risk benefit proposition Calculate Risk Index to ensure the data and process are robust and auditable Receive prioritised projects Develop solutions ensuring the optimum Totex solution is developed in line with corporate governance processes Support the capture of outputs and asset changes (decommissioning, alteration, creation) in the relevant corporate systems Engagement, planning and resource scheduling Adhere to all relevant governances especially with regard to authorisation to spend and periodic review Support Programme Manager in representation at TIG and Programme/Project Boards Develop deliverables documentation in support of the governance processes. Capture and report all efficiency data and take responsibility for the accuracy of all data for projects under your control Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements to ensure safe working practices Ensure Personal H&S & MTRA are completed and valid Ensure near misses are recorded through Good catch Carry out ad hoc risk assessment as necessary Skills & Knowledge Requirements Education to A level or equivalent Appropriate professional engineering qualification Operational Water experience Contract management skills Capital budget management skills not Revenue Strong negotiating skills Strong cost and risk based analysis skills Basic understanding of the regulatory processes that govern AW's IOS Initiative Knowledge and experience of customer management and external stakeholder management Knowledge and experience of planning and resource scheduling What's in it for you? 25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday Annual bonus Pension scheme Life Assurance Private Health Care This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/93591525
