SALARY: £8.91 per hour LOCATION: Due to expansion the Company is currently recruiting for Facilities Assistants across the group which cover areas such as Newcastle, Durham, Nottingham and more. As the Facilities Assistant & Buildings Maintenance Coordinator you will have excellent hospitality and customer service experience as working with the current hospitality team you would be required to work with external contractors and students living at the property. Working as the Facilities Assistant & Buildings Maintenance Coordinator you will be a good team player with a desire to develop your skills, a good communicator with a positive attitude and an individual capable of working under limited supervision. DUTIES Your duties and responsibilities as the Facilities Assistant & Buildings Maintenance Coordinator will include: Provide an excellent customer focused service delivery Carry out fire alarm tests, emergency light flick tests, basic water hygiene tests (such as taking temperatures and cleaning shower heads, fire evacuations and other health & safety activities as required on a site specific basis Respond to calls outside office hours which cannot be resolved without a presence on site (referring to appropriate contractors as necessary) Ensure the property is well maintained, safe and secure Ensure the effective provision of gardens and grounds maintenance Manage and maintain all statutory testing records, including: PAT and Fire Alarm servicing , using our online Facilities portal system (training will be provided) Provide an effective hard & soft facilities management service CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Good team player Desire to develop their skills Good communicator Positive attitude Capable of working under limited supervision.
