THE ROLE: As a Head of Business Services, you will be required to: Provide a professional, approachable and efficient management of information security, personnel and premises service. The role involves the supervision and management of approximately 20 administrative staff and support for barristers. Maintenance, scheduling, update and coordination of all aspects of Information Security Management System and ISO 27001 certification. All aspects of personnel management and HR activities including: Recruitment of administrative and other support staff Maintenance of employment and related records Liaison with Chambers' external HR consultant Liaison with outsourced health and safety consultants and Chambers' Health and safety Officer over all issues which may impact upon the premises, personnel and visitors thereto General management and coordination of the maintenance and security of the premises Maintenance and the purchase of office supplies and provisions Retention of maintenance / service contracts Scheduling of internal management and compliance meetings and provision of data reports thereto. THE IDEAL HEAD OF BUSINESS SERVICES CANDIDATE: Previous experience in information security is essential is this role. Experience in ISO 27001 certification is essential. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Annual Salary £30,000-£35,000 dependant on experience. Contributory Pension Scheme Working hours 8am- 6pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break) however if you need different flexi hours for childcare reasons for example this will be considered. This role will be a hybrid role of office and home based working.
