Hiab Driver/Operator

An exciting opportunity has opened with our client for a permanent HIAB/Operator role within their business based in Harlow, Essex. Responsibilities will include Work safely wearing relevant PPE that is supplied, adhering to policies and procedures at all times. Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects or contract variations to the Project Manager Before leaving the depot carry out daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork. Carry out light maintenance of cranes including hydraulic hose inspections and greasing at fixed injection points. To undertake 6 weekly vehicle checks and take the vehicle to relevant garages. Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use Complete site specific risk assessments on a daily basis and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment Backfill excavations and trenches as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard and to relevant specifications. Record final backfilled depth in line with road classification Carry out clegg impact testing Ensure all operations are carried out to the highest safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions. Ensure a photographic record is taken on each job prior to, during and after each job has been completed. Ensure all spoil removals are deposited at licensed tips only. Attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required Qualifications required: Full UK driving licence, CPC card NRSWA certificate CPCS qualification to operate clamshell bucket Experience of preferably 1 year in operating mobile crane operations Experience in operating a crane attachment, compaction equipment and pneumatic drills If this role sounds perfect for you, please apply online in the first instance with an up to date CV.
