Job Description We're currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a background of working on agile software projects to join the Experian Decision Analytics Identity and Fraud CrossCore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Product team to define and manage the backlog, eliciting business requirements, writing user stories, producing estimates and supporting the development team as they deliver projects using Agile techniques. Your key responsibilities will be: Project Delivery: Perform detailed business and systems analysis, document functional and non-functional requirements in the form of user stories. Conduct refinement sessions with the technical teams and support their understanding, so that they can develop technical solutions that meet the business requirements. Support the Scrum Master and wider delivery team to ensure that everything within the BA's authority is done to meet overall project delivery to time, quality and budget. Create and maintain relevant artefacts as required by the project e.g. User Guides, Implementation Guides, Training Guides etc. to departmental standards in line with the project plan. Ensure that all product and project documentation is complete and fully handed over to Operations, and support service acceptance activities. Relationship Management: Identify relevant stakeholders (clients, third party suppliers, internal team etc.) and their area and level of influence in each project. Manage the stakeholders and communicate appropriately to avoid escalations resulting from BA deliverables or processes. Elicit requirements from relevant stakeholders, enabling the definition of the backlog. Requirements management - Negotiate backlog prioritisation requirements with Product Owners, Account Managers and Business Consultants Create and communicate progress reports for Senior Leadership, Delivery Managers and Senior Business Analysts. Identify measures to improve delivery and customer satisfaction, making continuous improvement a key part of the delivery lifecycle. Personal Development: You'll take responsibility for your own personal development with support from your line manager and demonstrate continuous improvement in your performance You'll develop an understanding of our performance management processes, again supported by your line manager and the wider Experian team. Any knowledge of Experian's Strategy Design Studio would be beneficial. Qualifications Could this be the role for you? You will currently be working in a business analyst or similar role with experience or a background in software development projects. You'll be familiar with working in an agile environment and be familiar with the full software development lifecycle. The ability to build and maintain a network of contacts across the business will be key to your success and you'll have experience of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business Additional Information Why choose us?
