Specialist South Indian Cuisine Chef

The Leaf a South Indian restaurant in Grantham is looking for an experienced South Indian Chef for which experience is required. Successful candidates will have the duties and responsibilities include overseeing the production of dishes, to prepare, cook and finish foods, to monitor the production of food and ensure consistent quality and presented to the highest standards. You will be responsible for ordering stock according to his needs in his specialist area to ensure a smooth operation of his section of the kitchen. You need to be presentable, maintain high standard hygiene whilst preparing food. You will be responsible for the preparation of all various south Indian food items such as traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals known as Thali. You need to inspect the quality of the raw materials and ingredients before you start preparing. You need to have experience ins preparing the traditional breakfast Idli and Dosa made of fermented rice-and-lentil batter. He should be experienced in South Indian All types of food from Curries to bread to tandoori dishes. Additional Duties:

• Recording food temperatures
